WORD DRIVEN SPIRIT LED

A Practical Approach to a Victorious Christian Life

Are you born again?

Are you born again?
If you have been wondering about what happens after you die, the Bible is clear about heaven and hell. If one believes in Jesus Christ as his or her Savior, the Bible tells us that those who believe in Jesus have everlasting life (John 3:16). Those who do not, unfortunately, have no alternative other than hell. Nevertheless, sending anyone to hell is not the plan of a loving God who sent His only Son to save the world. One needs to believe and repent to be saved. If you want to be saved, you must -
1. Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins (Romans 4:25)
2. Ask Almighty God to forgive your sins (1 John 1:9)
3. Ask Jesus Christ into your life (Revelations 3:20)
4. Repent of your sins (Acts 3:19)
5. Submit your life to Jesus Christ (Galatians 2:20)

If you are still wondering about why Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, listen to this short reason by clicking on The Good News video on the right.

If you are not saved, why not pray right now and ask Jesus into your life? Your prayer must be sincere, followed by a disciplined approach to repent of your sinful lifestyle and conform to the character of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17. If you want to be saved, please pray this short prayer sincerely and from your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In your name I pray.  Thank you, Jesus.

I am born again. What next?
Now that your are born again, it is not the end of all. In fact, it is just the beginning of a wonderful and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That does not mean just going to church. You must diligently work to build an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Just like your physical body requires a balanced diet, your spiritual body also requires a balanced spiritual diet.
1. Read the Bible every day (Joshua 1:8)
2. Pray for and over everything (Philippians 4:6-7)
3. Fellowship with believers (Hebrews 10:24-25)
4. Tell others about what Christ has done for you and be a living witness of God's love (Acts 1:8)
Along with this balanced spiritual diet, you must learn to listen and submit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who is now your spiritual counselor. Only then will your lifestyle change to a state of increasing holiness that pleases God.
Tell another believer that you are now a born-again Christian.
Find a local Calvary Chapel or another Bible teaching church to attend.

Quiet Time
Reading the Bible and praying is together called Quiet Time (QT). Having your QT every day is the most important activity that a Christian must learn to do. QT is a trusted and proven method of building that unbreakable relationship with Jesus Christ. Discipline yourself in keeping this important appointment with God each day. As you read God's Word, think about what God is teaching you and carefully look for practical application in your personal life. Knowing God's direction must follow with action on your part.

Fellowship
The Bible says that two are better than one. (Ecclesiastes 4:9). Find an accountability partner to help you stay accountable to having a balanced spiritual diet. Find a home group or a Bible Study at your church to attend regularly so that you can count on spiritual help when you are weak. When you fall down, there is a brother or sister that can lift you up and help you back on your feet.

Witnessing
People are looking for answers to many personal problems. But they are looking in all the wrong places. Why not step out of your comfort zone and be a witness of God's love to those around you. Don't just tell them about Jesus Christ, but tell them what Jesus did for you. Show them how your life has changed. Shower them with love so they can see Jesus in you.
